The fast track passport service is available at Passport Offices around the country. The process requires you, or a nominated representative, to visit the Passport Office so that the passport can be processed and delivered within one week.
Currently charged at £103,00 for a standard adult passport, this service is only available to those who have previously held a UK passport and is available by appointment only.
Premium Passport renewal
The Premium service affords you the opportunity to get your passport back within 4 hours of your application being accepted. As with the Fast track service you need to go a Passport Office for this service.
The premium service is currently charged at £128 for a standard adult passport. And remember you need to call the passport adviceline on 0300 222 0000 for an appointment.

Points to remember when considering fast track and premium passport service
Demand increases significantly during the summer months that is May to July, so sometimes appointments lead times can be up to two weeks.
Take all completed application forms and supporting documentation with you.
Time scales for the fast track and premium service are only guaranteed if you have all the correct documentation with you and your application is a simple one.
Unfortunately the following type of applications can not be used for the premium service
- replacing lost, stolen or damaged passports,
- making complex changes to existing documents
