Syrian passport renewal
The process of renewing an expired Syrian passport for the millions of Syrians within Syria and those outside it’s borders had become long winded, this was until April 2015 when a government resolution stated that,
“Syrians who left the country "illegally" will be able to obtain new passports, or renew old ones, without going through intelligence clearance.”
This single declaration has been a ray of light to the millions of displaced Syrians across the world. It has now become relatively straightforward to renew your Syrian passport.
What this means is that those who apply for a passport renewal no longer have to wait for their documents to be reviewed by intelligence officials in Damascus.
However this comes at a price, passport fees for a new passport are now US$400 and US$200 for a renewal.
You need to follow the following steps to renew your Syrian passport
STEP 1:
Visit the nearest Syrian embassy or consulate with the required documentation.
You will need to complete the Syrian passport renewal application form and you will need to provide the following information;

STEP 2:
Gather required documents

STEP 3:
Once you have gather all the documents complete application form and make relevant payment and submit to be processed;

Application forms are available from your nearest Syrian embassy or consulate.
For children
You will need to provide Syrian passport or Syrian ID of both parents. Or in the case where one parent is unavailable provide documentation to the reasons why.
